WelcomeWelcome to Oregon Online. The mission of Oregon Online is to provide an alternative anytime/anywhere learning opportunity for all high school students. Online learning is proving to be a compelling environment for a significant segment of our school population. The skills acquired to learn and communicate online are life-long skills that will serve students in high school, college and in the workplace. This year we will offer over 70 courses. Schools purchase student seats that allow them to enroll students in any of our courses. Online learning has applications for in-school, home-school, alternative, and difficult-to-serve populations such as ill, expelled, incarcerated, and pregnant teens. Students register through their home high school, and that school claims all ADM. All schools that enroll students are requested to identify an administrator and/or counselor to serve on the o2 advisory board which meets twice a year to help set policy, establish practices, and define needs. Schools that provide their online students with a mentor and a time and place to work have the highest success rate. Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance regarding any aspect of online learning. Our staff has had a long history in the use of technology for teaching and learning. Oregon online is the next step in that arena.
