Software and HardwareIn order to make your online experience a positive one, your computer must meet certain minimum requirements: Recommended configuration for best performance: Windows:
In addition to meeting minimum requirements, your computer must have a word processor that can read and save Microsoft Word documents, and a drawing program that can read and save BMP, GIF, or JPG files. Some courses require students to print pages, complete activities, and fax or scan them to back to the teacher. If students do not have a printer, scanner, and fax machine available at home, they should check with their school for assistance. Linux systems are not supported, but recent versions may work. Oregon Online does not provide technical assistance for these platforms. For other software (plugins), see our plugin test page: www.o2learning.org/plugins.html |
